Preakness: My Prediction

For the last two weeks the doubters have been apoplectic about Justify’s foot. He’s lame. He’s bruised. He’s hurting.

Trainer Bob Baffert has put all these rumors to rest, and Justify looks like a monster under a tight leash in his warmups.

Add to that a sloppy track, which Justify seems to relish, a relatively weak field with Good Magic being the only true competitors, and you have a rout on your hands.

I’ll take Justify by five lengths over Good Magic, with Bravazo sneaking in for third. And here’s hoping we have another Triple Crown winner in the making.
