Knicks Go Cashes in on Breeders’ Futurity

70-1 longshot Knicks Go led from start to finish, winning the Breeders’ Futurity by an impressive six lengths.

The victory gave the Ben Holbrook-trained colt an entry into the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile. He was ridden by Albin Jimenez.

Knicks Go went to the start and set slow fractions, allowing him to keep a one-length lead throughout the race. No one came to challenge him, and as he entered the homestretch he had lengthened his lead to three lengths.

By the time he crossed the finish line, he was six lengths ahead of Signalman. Standard Deviation overcame a rough start to rally for third.

Dream Maker, the 5-2 favorite, continued to fade after winning his first race. He finished 12th.
