Heavily favored Mo Spirit came from off the pace Saturday, winning the Los Alamitos Futurity by 1 1/4 lengths over his stablemate, Toews On Ice. Mohaymen Favored in Remsen

Nashua Stakes winner Mohaymen, undefeated in two previous starts, is the favorite in today’s Grade II Remsen Stakes, an important race on the road to the Kentucky Derby. The son of Tapit will face eight other colts in the 1 1/8 mile race, including Flexibility and Sail Ahoy, who finished second and third, respectively, to Mohaymen in the Nashua.
